איך זה עובד

מה הוא יודע לעשות

כדי לתקן, Fixi חייב לראות מה אתם מקלידים, אז היינו צריכים לבנות אותו נכון: מה שאתם
מקלידים נשאר בזיכרון בלבד, לכל היותר 20 המילים האחרונות, ונמחק בכל Enter, מעבר
חלון, לחיצת עכבר ואחרי כל תיקון. שום דבר לא נכתב לדיסק, ואין ב-Fixi שום קוד רשת.

רגע, זה לא בעצם תוכנה שמקליטה הקלדות?
כדי לזהות ג'יבריש, Fixi חייב לראות את ההקלדה. ההבדל הוא מה קורה איתה: היא נשארת
בזיכרון בלבד, לכל היותר 20 מילים, ונמחקת כל הזמן. היא אף פעם לא נשמרת בקובץ ואף פעם לא נשלחת,
כי אין ב-Fixi קוד שמתחבר לאינטרנט. בשדות סיסמה ש-Windows מזהה הוא לא נוגע.
יש כמה תוכנות, בעיקר תוכנות עבודה כמו Teams ו-Slack, שלא "מספרות"
ל-Windows איפה יש שדה סיסמה, ולכן שם Fixi לא יכול לזהות אותו. רוצים
שקט? אפשר לבקש מ-Fixi בהגדרות לא לגעת בתוכנה מסוימת, ואז הוא לא שומר ממנה אפילו
אות אחת, גם לא בזיכרון.
באילו תוכנות זה עובד?
כמעט בכל מקום שבו מקלידים במחשב: באתרים ובטפסים בדפדפן (Chrome או Edge),
במסמכי Word, בפנקס הרשימות של Windows ועוד.
חריג אחד: חלונות שנפתחו "עם הרשאות מנהל" - בדרך כלל התקנות והגדרות מתקדמות של המחשב.
Windows לא מאפשר לאף תוכנה לשנות בהם טקסט.

מה צריך כדי להשתמש בו?
Windows 10 (גרסה 1809 ומעלה) או Windows 11, עם מקלדת עברית ומקלדת
אנגלית מותקנות. ככה זה כבר אצל כמעט כל מי שמקליד בעברית.
איך קונים ב-Microsoft Store?
- לוחצים על הכפתור בעמוד הזה ומגיעים לדף של Fixi ב-Microsoft Store.
- בוחרים ניסיון חינם: שבעה ימים, הכול פתוח.
- כשמחליטים להשאיר אותו: קנייה בדף ב-Store, או קניית

ואם הוא מתקן משהו שלא רציתי?
Ctrl פעמיים מחזיר בדיוק את מה שהקלדתם ואת שפת המקלדת, ו-Fixi לא יתקן את
המילים האלה שוב. הוא בנוי להעדיף לפספס על פני לתקן בטעות: הוא מחכה לשתי מילים לפני שהוא
נוגע במשהו.

the whole sentence and switches the keyboard language. By itself, in a second, with no

How it works
- Type as usual, in any app. Forget to switch language, as always.
- Fixi sees it is gibberish, and waits for a second word to be sure.
- The sentence is fixed, the keyboard is switched, and you keep typing.

Never connects to the internet. At all.
To fix your typing Fixi has to see it, so it had to be built carefully: what you type stays
in memory only, at most your last 20 words, cleared on every Enter, window switch,
mouse click and correction. Nothing is written to disk, and Fixi contains no networking code.

Questions
Wait, isn't this a keylogger?
To notice gibberish, Fixi has to see your typing. What matters is what happens to it: it
stays in memory only, at most 20 words, cleared constantly. It is never saved to a file and
never sent anywhere, because Fixi has no code that connects to the internet. It stays out of
password fields Windows can identify. A few apps, mostly work apps such as Teams and Slack,
don't "tell" Windows where a password field is, so there Fixi can't recognise one. Want
peace of mind? In Settings you can tell Fixi to leave any app alone, and then it doesn't
keep a single letter from it, not even in memory.
Which apps does it work in?
Almost anywhere you type on your computer: websites and forms in your browser (Chrome or
Edge), Word documents, Windows Notepad and more.
One exception: windows opened "as administrator" - usually installers and advanced
computer settings. Windows doesn't let any app change text in those.
